About Dr. Dirks

Meet Dr. Jonathan Dirks, a compassionate and highly trained Doctor of Audiology at HEAR Ontario in Sarnia’s North End. Born and raised in Sarnia, Dr. Dirks is proud to bring his expertise back home to serve the community that shaped him.

Dr. Dirks completed his Doctorate in Audiology in 2018 through the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium (NOAC) — a collaborative program combining the excellence of Kent State University, The University of Akron, and the Cleveland Clinic. This diverse education provided him with comprehensive clinical experience and exposure to the most advanced diagnostic and rehabilitative practices in hearing healthcare.

Returning Home to Serve His Community

After several years of practicing audiology in South Florida, Dr. Dirks returned to Sarnia to be closer to family and friends. His return reflects his deep connection to the community and his desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those struggling with hearing challenges.

With a patient-first approach, Dr. Dirks is passionate about helping individuals reconnect with the sounds of life through personalized hearing care and the latest advancements in hearing aid technology.

When he’s not helping patients hear their best, Dr. Dirks enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with loved ones. His approachable nature and commitment to his patients make him a trusted hearing care professional in the Sarnia community.
